Iran’s Forgotten Chemical Weapons Victims

Washington DC, October 18, 2007 – “There is no such thing as a clean war, these weapons devastate lives,” said Kamin Mohammadi at the Center for Arms Control and Nonproliferation in DC, while commenting on the millions of people treated every year for injuries incurred from chemical weapon attacks. The Iranian born British journalist has committed her time and efforts to a public awareness campaign to bring to light not only the atrocities that took place between 1980-1988 on the Iranian border with Iraq, but also to tell the stories of the victims that are suffering to this day.
