Lecture on 1999 total solar eclipse in Iran

I used to be an astronomy geek back then in Iran and had memorized all the constellations, observed and mapped Jupiter’s satellites in orbit and was probably one of the youngest people subscribed to Nojum, the only astronomy magazine in Middle East.

I made this video in the summer of 1999 before the last total solar eclipse of the century. I can’t believe how much I used to know about these things. The city of Isfahan in Iran was the best location to view this amazing and rare phenomena. So my cousin and I went on a bus trip to Isfahan to view the eclipse in person and it was amazing.
